New Academic Year New Pianists

Every academic year new pianists starts and some of the previous ones leave for work or to continue with further studies. Extra fun for this year is that we have a record number of people in the piano class, no less than 13 pianists now occupy the Castle of Västerås, and that, together with a new student record for the entire Academy of Music and Opera, Mälardalen University, means that the practice rooms are, to say the least, well filled and music is sounding through the windows at all possible hours of the day!
I would especially like to welcome all the new students in the first year of the Bachelor’s program: Ebba Johansson, Edvard Armsköld, Henning Stenerås and Oscar Liestam; very much looking forward to working with you in the years to come!

Nytt läsår = ny pianoklass
Varje läsår börjar nya pianister och några av de tidigare går vidare till jobb eller vidare studier. Extra roligt för i år är att vi är rekordmånga i pianoklassen, inte mindre än 13 pianister huserar numera på Västerås slott och det tillsammans med ett nytt studentrekord för hela Musik- och Operahögskolan, Mälardalens Universitet, gör att övningsrummen minst sagt är välfyllda och musik ljuder genom fönstren under alla möjliga timmar på dygnet!
Jag hälsar särskilt välkomna alla nya i första året på Kandidatprogrammet: Ebba Johansson, Edvard Armsköld, Henning Stenerås och Oscar Liestam, ser mycket fram emot att jobba även med er framöver!
