Christmas concert Mälardalen University

This past Wednesday it was time for a great tradtition at our university; the annual MOMDU Christmas Concert at Campus Västerås! The concert is always held in the big space at the main entrance, with the artists performing in front of the big glass windows to the university plaza. The audience was even larger that usual and we were very happy to see so many of the staff there, including our vice-chancellor Martin Hellström (who has the very nice habit of always attending!).

The program included many traditional Swedish christmas songs but also music by Schubert, Sibelius, Händel, Mascagni, Doppler and Bach.

I onsdags var det dags för en viktig tradition på vårt universitet; den årliga MOMDU-julkonserten på Campus Västerås! Konserten hålls alltid i den stora lokalen vid huvudentrén, där artisterna uppträder framför de stora glasfönstren mot universitetstorget. Publiken var ännu större än vanligt och vi var mycket glada att se så många av personalen där, inklusive vår rektor Martin Hellström (som har den härliga vanan att alltid närvara vid julkonserterna).

Programmet innehöll många traditionella julsånger men också musik av Schubert, Sibelius, Händel, Mascagni, Doppler och Bach.
